Our Story

In 1976 a man had vision for Missions Outreach, Inc. Missions Outreach took youth from all over the United States and Canada to serve on summer long mission trips around the world. Teens would come to Miracle Hills Ranch, Bethany, Missouri for a boot camp before leaving the country where they would serve.

In 1994, Bob & Sharon Johnson moved from Indiana to Missouri to become the directors of Hope Missions Outreach. They believed Miracle Hills Ranch was such a beautiful piece of land and that it was Northwest Missouri’s best kept secret. Their vision was to turn Miracle Hills Ranch into a campground for church camps, retreats, family reunions, etc. Miracle Hills has been operating as a non-denominational Campground ever since.

In 1996, Mike & Tricia Spurling joined alongside of them and are now present Camp Directors of Miracle Hills.
